MS in MIS Program

Aims

Master of Science (MS) in Management Information Systems (MIS) focuses on the application of information systems concepts to the collection, storage, and retrieval of information for management planning and decision making. The program blends theory and practice into a learning experience that develops skills applicable to the complex and changing real-world problems. It intends to prepare individuals to enhance their effectiveness in organization through knowledge of information processes as instruments for achieving organizational goals. This specialized program offers students on achieving management skills with optimal information for corporate decision-making. The program is designed both for practicing computer professionals who want to progress in their careers to managerial and executive positions, and new students interested in pursuing the career of information systems discipline. Thus program requirements will vary from student to student and are determined personally for each degree candidate depending on experience, previous education, and preferred career path.
